Design Process

Our approach begins with an analysis of your market’s potential, your competition and your customers. We review existing marketing materials and strategy and retain the best assets as design cues used in the new website design.

We encourage you to visit other websites, both in your business space and beyond, to take inspiration from the elements you find most compelling and suitable for your online identity, and we will do the same. We will then discuss the features your website will need, and work on a plan to best integrate those features into the design.

Next, we create a wireframe (similar to a blueprint) for layout of different pages and a concept for the color scheme and overall "look" of the website and go from there. We keep you involved in the process, requesting feedback at each major stage of the site design.

Content Management

Ever dream of being able to manage your website content without spending a lot of time or having to hire someone to do it for you?

Nexxus proudly develops sites supported by the Joomla Content Management System. Joomla allows non-technical people to easily and quickly update their content, which would otherwise be done by web designers. By using a CMS, your company can save time and money managing its website in-house. With very little training, you can have more people updating content on your live site, so you get a web site that’s always relevant and up to date!

You no longer have to buy expensive and complicated software to make updates - all management and modifications are done from your web browser, on just about any computer connected to the Internet! NexxusWeb highly recommends the Joomla! CMS as it is a mature, proven system with a large community of users and developers for support. We find it to be highly flexible and scalable while remaining very user-friendly.
